Ben Vutci
Ben grew up surrounded by hunting dogs and has been bird hunting since he was young. It was his own dog, Cato, who turned that lifelong connection into a passion for training.
That experience, along with seminars with well-known trainers and time in the field, shaped how he trains today: clear communication, ethical methods, and real hunting scenarios instead of quick fixes.
His goal is to build a community of gun dog owners through hands-on involvement. Training a dog is one of the most rewarding things an owner can do, and he wants to pass that along to as many people as possible.
Meet Cato
Cato, the dog who inspired Ben to start training, is an American black lab experienced in waterfowl and upland hunting. He is UKC Hunt Tested and an HRC member with multiple HRC passes, and Ben has trained him himself since he was 8 weeks old.
